Astier de Villatte's Delhi scent takes a spicy plunge into the heart of Delhi and unfolds like a fever dream of the senses. 

In the old town, where alleys run tight and shadowed and buildings seem to lean into one another, the heat gathers and holds every scent in suspension. Betel, musk and myrrh create a deep, heady warmth; benzoin lends a resinous glow; smoked wood curls through the composition with a dusky softness. There are sweeter murmurs too — vanilla lingering beneath the spice — and then the green, camphorous breath of eucalyptus beedies, flickering through the haze. It brings to mind a walk through the city at dusk, when the day’s heat still clings to the stones and every street seems to exhale its own secret fragrance.
